The Miriam Bailey Gallery opened in March 2005. The Gallery overlooks the River Bandon
on McSwiney Quay which runs parallel to the South Main Street, the town's principal artery.
The objectives of the Gallery are to:
- Provide the community with a diverse range of contemporary and original art.
- Support artists in exhibiting their work to the best advantage.
- Promote emerging young artists from the region and offer their work for sale in the gallery.
- Respond effectively to client interests.
